Romy Balvers is a Dutch singer-songwriter and pianist whose music blends intimate piano melodies, soulful vocals and honest storytelling.

Having lived and worked in New York City for many years, Romy also spent years performing and recording there, an experience that became an important part of her musical journey and artistic identity.

Her songs draw from real emotion and personal experience, exploring love, vulnerability, loss, resilience and the courage to let go. With a piano-driven sound and an intimate approach to songwriting, she creates music that feels personal, honest and unfiltered.

Now based in the Netherlands, Romy continues to write, record and perform her own music. Her latest single, “Empty Handed,” reflects the heart of her work: emotionally direct, vulnerable and unmistakably her own.
